Layer-4.1 Notice
This is Layer-4.1 (System Interface — Foundational Introduction). This page introduces explanation, not operation. All authority derives from trizel-core (Layer-0), the canonical governance repository.
What is TRIZEL?
TRIZEL is a structured system for documenting and presenting AI governance research. It operates under a strict multi-layer architecture where each layer has a specific role and clearly defined boundaries.
TRIZEL is NOT:
- An operational AI system
- A live monitoring or analytics platform
- A research publication venue
- A decision-making authority
- A predictive or inference engine
- An interactive application with system behavior
TRIZEL provides institutional documentation and presentation of governance research conducted under strict layer separation principles.
Layer Structure
The TRIZEL system operates under a mandatory layer separation model. Each layer has specific responsibilities and strict boundaries:
Layer-0 Governance / Authority
Repository: trizel-core
Establishes policies, standards, and governance framework. This is the authoritative source for all TRIZEL system decisions and constraints.
Layer-1 Internal Research & Analysis
Repositories: trizel-lab (public); trizel-AI, trizel-monitor (internal)
Conducts research, analysis, and validation under Layer-0 governance. Internal research operations and technical execution.
Layer-2 Presentation / Display
Repository: trizel-site (this site)
Public-facing presentation and orientation. Structural descriptions and navigation aids only. No scientific content or authority.
Layer-2.5 Epistemic Mapping
Location: atlas/ (this site)
Visualization of epistemic relationships and artifact connections. Static mapping display without analysis or inference.
Layer-3 System Topology
Location: topology/ (this site)
System-level repository and organizational structure. Static topology display without live data or introspection.
Layer-4 System Interface
Location: This page (Layer-4.1 only)
Explanatory interface providing narrative structure and guided understanding. This is the first and only allowed surface of Layer-4: explanation, not operation.
What This Site Is NOT
To maintain institutional clarity and governance compliance, it is essential to understand what TRIZEL and this site do NOT provide:
- No Scientific Authority — This site makes no scientific claims and has no research authority
- No Live Data — All content is static, hand-authored, and pre-validated
- No System Execution — No operational capabilities, monitoring, or analysis
- No Dashboards or Metrics — No counters, statistics, or live indicators
- No Calls-to-Action — No onboarding flows or user engagement mechanisms
- No Personalization — No user tracking, profiles, or adaptive content
- No Future Promises — No roadmap language or speculative features
- No Storytelling Beyond Explanation — Narrative is educational only, not promotional
This is a read-only, non-interactive, explanatory surface. All links are informational only.
Governance and Authority
All authority derives from Layer-0 (trizel-core).
This page and the entire trizel-site repository operate under strict governance constraints defined in trizel-core. Layer-4.1 introduces explanation, not operation.
The layer separation model is mandatory and non-negotiable:
- Layer-0 governs
- Layer-1 produces research
- Layer-2, 2.5, 3, and 4 display and explain
Presentation layers (2, 2.5, 3, 4) have zero authority and perform no analysis, inference, or execution.
Layer Preservation
Layer-4.1 preserves all existing layers as frozen and untouched:
- Layer-2 (Display) — Presentation pages remain unchanged
- Layer-2.5 (Epistemic Atlas) — Mapping interface remains unchanged
- Layer-3 (Topology) — System structure remains unchanged
This page introduces institutional explanation without modifying any existing presentation surfaces.
